If you have a zucchini, some tomato sauce, and cheese at home, you have almost everything you need to make mini zucchini pizzas. Children can help arrange the toppings, while you decide how simple or colorful the recipe will be.
Mini pizzas can be served as a side dish, snack, or part of dinner. Serve them with bread, pasta, or another accompaniment that suits your family.
Ingredients for mini zucchini pizzas
For approximately two servings, you will need:
- 1 large zucchini
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 80 g of grated cheese
- A little oregano
- Optional toppings, such as finely chopped bell pepper or corn
- Orgula Bio Junior olive oil for serving
How to prepare mini zucchini pizzas?
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wash the zucchini and cut it into slices approximately one centimeter thick.
- Arrange the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. An adult can also bake them briefly, for about 8 minutes, to soften them.
- Remove the baking tray from the oven. Once the slices have cooled enough to handle safely, invite your child to help add the tomato sauce, cheese, and other toppings.
- Return the tray to the oven for another 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the zucchini softens.
- Allow the mini pizzas to cool slightly. Before serving, add a little Orgula Bio Junior olive oil.

How to Involve Your Child in the Preparation?
A younger child can choose the toppings and sprinkle the cheese, while an older child can help arrange the ingredients. Leave cutting and handling the hot baking tray to adults.
If your child is not sure whether they want to try zucchini, let them first assemble a mini pizza for themselves. They can choose familiar toppings and explore a new meal without pressure.
