Production facility
Orgula’s production plant in Dicmo is a well-equipped, modern facility, co-financed by the EU funds for rural development and with an implemented HACCP system.
The facility stores 75,000 liters of olive oil in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Besides a modern filling line for glass and PET containers ranging from 100 ml to 2 l, and large bulk packages with a capacity between 5 and 1,000 l, the facility has a closed pipeline system for receiving and handling the oil to prevent any kind of contamination or oxidation.
The facility boasts a certificate for filling and storing organic olive oil. There are 90 pallet racks for storing finished products, and all the equipment is food industry certified. The facility also has 40 kW solar panels installed on its roof.
The work process includes oil reception, quality analysis, bottling, shipping, and waste disposal. The facility, which began operating in 2020, covers a floor space of 800 m2, i.e. 1,600 m2 on two floors. Its six employees have modern changing rooms, bathrooms, breakroom, and kitchen at their disposal.
