The Orgula team participated in the World Expo EXPO 2025 in Osaka, one of the most important global events that brings together leading companies and institutions from around the world. Croatia presented itself through the Croatian National Day, which included the Japan-Croatia Economic Forum, with a focus on strengthening business ties between the two countries.
The forum brought together around 60 Croatian companies from various sectors, from the food industry to IT. In cooperation with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), more than a hundred B2B meetings with Japanese entrepreneurs were organized.

Premium olive oils for a demanding market
At the forum, Orgula presented its premium segment of olive oils, aimed at the fine gastronomy sector and consumers who appreciate top quality. The Japanese market is known for its high sensitivity to quality, authenticity and reliability – values that our products fully embody.
As CEO Piero Zekan pointed out, face-to-face meetings play a key role in Japanese business culture, and events like this are an opportunity to create the foundation of long-term partnerships.
Expanding presence globally
Participation in EXPO is a continuation of Orgula’s strategic expansion into foreign markets. After fairs such as ANUGA, SIAL and PLMA, Osaka is another important step in strengthening the brand’s presence in the premium products segment.
